El Batey

First day of medical clinics- it was great! We were in El Batey, a local community filled with sweet people. The students did a great job!

We worked hard and met a lot of wonderful people. The people we met today touched our hearts and made us feel welcome.

Praise the Lord. After a long delay in Evansville we are now in Atlanta and waiting to board. We had to hurry to get to our gate. Everyone did well in the flight. Next stop: Santo Domingo!

Home Sweet Home

We are back on American soil (Atlanta) getting ready to board our plane for Evansville. Got through customs with no problems- yeah! We are glad to be back, but sad to leave the DR and the wonderful people. We are excited about warm showers, flushing toilet paper, our own beds and of course, our families! We will miss our team members- who know too much about us. Our motto is what happens in the DR, stays in the DR!! We are so grateful for the team God put together, the people we got to meet and safe travels. We will never forget this incredible experience. To God be the glory!
