A group of 18 people from southwest Indiana are gearing up to head to the Dominican Republic for a medical mission trip. Our team consists of 13 student nurses, 4 registered nurses and a carpenter!

We plan to hold 4 days of medical clinics in 4 different villages. We will be bringing medication, supplies, hygiene items, but most of all we will bring HOPE. We want the people we meet to know that we care about them and that want to help.

We will work hard and play hard. We will meet many, many wonderful people who will touch our hearts and change our lives. We will not speak the same language, but we will understand each other. We will laugh and we will cry. We hope to be a blessing, but we know that we will be blessed beyond measure. We will leave Indiana not knowing each other well, but we will return to Indiana bound by our  incredible experience!

Home Sweet Home

We are back on American soil (Atlanta) getting ready to board our plane for Evansville. Got through customs with no problems- yeah! We are glad to be back, but sad to leave the DR and the wonderful people. We are excited about warm showers, flushing toilet paper, our own beds and of course, our families! We will miss our team members- who know too much about us. Our motto is what happens in the DR, stays in the DR!! We are so grateful for the team God put together, the people we got to meet and safe travels. We will never forget this incredible experience. To God be the glory!
